Swim- the swim will take place on the north or south side of the Oceanside pier, depending upon the current. For obvious safety reasons this will be decided by the Race Directors the day prior to the race. The course will be rectangular with two main turns and staffed by Oceanside Lifeguards. Final course details will be available race morning.

Transition- will take place in the Bandshell on the south side of the pier. Athletes will enter from the beach through the west entrance, crossing The Strand and then exit onto the run from the north end, close to McDonalds.

Run- the run will head north along The Strand or the beach (depending upon tide and hard packed sand on the beach), turn around at Breakwater Way and head back south to the pier. Runners will then proceed up the pier ramp and run west to the end of the pier and back. The last leg of the run will be south on The Strand or the beach (again dependent upon sand levels and tides) turning around at Wisconsin Ave and then running back north and finishing at the Bandshell area.

Parking- available above the Oceanside pier in any of the metered parking stalls or pay parking lots. There will be no free event parking. Athletes are responsible for parking fees.

Awards- will take place after the last finisher completes the course (approximately 9am) at the Bandshell and will consist of the top three in each of the following age group categories, male and female:
    Professional, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+, Male relay, Female relay, Co-ed relay.
