June 8-10, 2001 Ironman Lake Placid Training Camp (Lake Placid, NY)

Mulitsports.com's Lake Placid Ironman Triathlon Camp is an intensive three-day, two-night program geared to the serious triathlete preparing for Ironman distance events, specifically Ironman USA in Lake Placid, NY. Eight time Hawaiian Ironman Champion Paula Newby-Fraser and Multisports.com's Roch Frey and Paul Huddle will be there to share their knowledge and expertise to maximize your potential at Ironman USA. Daily workouts will lay the training foundation for the event, while the evenings will feature complete rundowns on planning a training schedule, proper tapering, pre- and during-race nutrition, and mental preparation.

This is not a fantasy camp. You will be asked to swim 3000-4000 yards, ride as long as 5 hours, run up to 2 hours. If your aspirations include Ironman distance racing, we promise what you learn will have a dramatic effect on your performance in Lake Placid or elsewhere and/or your chance or qualifying for Kona.
